I just want to speak the truth and want you to know you're doing a good thing. Not enough people show appreciation for things today.  So thanks for taking me on and always answering my questions too. Personally, I think you are a genius with how you have your system set up.  Systems are my priority in my practice too. To have a good system, the thought process in planning has to be methodical.  I admire your whole system.  It's very well thought out and planned.
Spinning font would be fantastic - and to be honest, your company is much better than Mad Dogg (at least Europe), they're doing nothing for Spinning in Switzerland (but that's another topic). Your team really supports us, you make us feel that we're important, your customer service is just fantastic and I can feel that you want to solve our problems. So I'm a very happy customer - and please let your team know that they are doing a great job. I can't be easy especially with Class Builder and all the instructors with different certifications, different ways of preparing and teaching classes and therefore wanting different things from the app - and having no clue about programing :-)
I wanted to thank you for your help in getting me back into cycling shape.  I am much better on the bike than I am walking or working at the moment.  Yesterday I completed a 3+ hour ride with almost 3000 ft elevation gain. I'm not riding for power or speed, just getting time in the saddle in all zones.  I'm very tentative going downhill and in curves.  I assume it will take a while to relax and it is probably a good thing since I can't afford to crash. I am now a firm believer in the value of time spent in zone 2 and 3.
I wanted to acknowledge my excitement. Watch out you have taken on a duel battery pack complete with recharger. :)
I'm sad training is over :( thank you so much for the wonderful people you have introduced me to. The guest instructors this year were fantastic.
Awesome job today! Really appreciated the Tour de Zones, (got my HR up to 183 for nearly :30. Hello zone 5!). My students really learned a lot from that workout!
One year ago, I started indoor winter cycling. I could only ride for 30 minutes and could only stand while pedaling for about 20 seconds before pooping out. Today, I rode at Winter Training for 1 hour and 40 minutes and I can stand for 15 minutes stretches. Thanks to my coach, Gene Nacey at Cycling Fusion!
You rock Gene! We had so much fun from this side!
I look forward to every Sat., not just because of all the great information, the guest speakers, the ride & stretch....but because you give me time to think about ME. Bravo!
I can't wait for Winter Training! I am so happy that you guys are doing this. I wanted to participate last year, but was financially unable to do so. So, again thank you guys for doing this. I know I appreciate it.
Gene-I'm a new Fusion junkie. I am very surprised, as I have worked out alone for most of 40 years. As you are most aware, if you have a training agenda (as I usually do), riding with others, outside, rarely works as they are either to fast or to slow. Today was the best workout I have had in 8 months, and leads me to believe that I will not only have others, but, do a good STP in 2012.
The virtual ride with breathtaking view! Learned a lot from Gene's and your cueing--fun, encouraging, power boosting... I would get the last song of the final climb at any cost:) It is so powerful!
All my people were very happy with the program today! Excellent job! Thank you
First of all I enjoyed the training on Sat. The technology is great, and I am looking forward to what's to come.
Bravo guys. You rock. Let's get my HR (and hopefully my power) updates online soon. Let's have an awesome day tomorrow !!!!
Great program ... the participants in my classes love being able to see how much longer they are going to have to endure their time in a given heart zone. They keep asking me why all the instructors aren't using the Class Builder.
Hi Gene.  I started traditional indoor spinning about 3 years ago.  That lead to a desire to ride outdoors and learn more about cycling as an athletic sport.  With so many confusing sources to get facts from I wasn't sure where to start.  Our local spinning group offered your Winter Training and after my first demo class I knew this was what I needed.  Six months later I rode my first 62 mike Tour de Cure with power and was amazed at what I had achieved in such a short period.  Thank you for pulling together only the best of resources to help us become better athletes!
I cannot wait for next year! The goals and passions of Cycling Fusion are now mine too and I hope to educate my clients as well as you have with all the knowledge you've so graciously passed on. Thank you :) !!
Students this am gave me great feedback on the program. Tim, rode outside yesterday for 3 1/2 hours and had one of his best rides ever. He has never done a solid base for himself and is already experiencing the results. Larry, the one who just started using a computer, told me he LOVES the program so much and was concerned about what he would do in a month when it is over.
Thank you so much for offering the webcast discount to the ICIPro members. I am learning so much by watching you coach. I look forward to taking classes from both you and Tom at ICI Pro this year. The class loved your Tour De Heart Zones profile. It was a light bulb moment for many of them!
I'm in the process of completing the on demand certification. I've taken certifications for personal training, group fitness instructor, cardio kickboxing, and Turbo Kick. This training is by far one of the best! I would recommend it.

To date your program has been absolutely phenomenal. I missed weeks 2 & 3 as I was out of the country on business. I cannot say that I have caught up entirely, but my performance has increased dramatically over the past two weeks (I am 70 years old and have used a heart rate monitor for at least a decade but this is the first time I have used it effectively). All in all the program is fantastic!
I just wanted to share with you that I have been an indoor cycling instructor for about 13 years, coming from a group exercise instructor background of over 17 years. I found your workshops to be extremely helpful in expanding my knowledge of the outdoor cycling world. I often wondered "why" we were doing jumps, hovering and isometrics, and I haven't used them in my classes for years. I will definitely recommend your workshop to my colleagues!
I must say I love the “Winter Training Program” so far. I can tell it’ll help my riding immensely. After this last Saturday I thought I’d be wasted for 2 days like I would have been last year. Not so! Hurrraaahhhhh I was NOT sore at all the next day!

Hi Gene - I had to write you as soon as I got home from today's 62 mile Tour de Cure in Rochester NY.  We almost got rained out but started at 8am. I followed all of your suggestions for the week leading up to the ride and restudied the nutrition and other prep material from Winter Training.  What a success!  It rained for about 20 minutes as we left town and I warmed up with the field of 100-200.  After that we went right into decent hills which I had already practiced on.  That's when my Winter Training kicked in and I walked away from almost everyone around me.  Last year I was pretty inexperienced and got dropped on the slightest grade.  Today I was passing riders far more than I got passed and was still standing with power at the end of 4 hours. I ended up doing the ride in 3:55 with an average cadence of 81, average speed of 16mph, average HR of 150 for a total of 2,500' of elevation. I owe it all to you and your crew at Cycling Fusion!!
You have an amazing passion for indoor cycling and it shows in your Global Ride DVD's, Class Builder, Ride Builder, Winter Training, Instructor Certification..........Thank you. I love your products. They make my job as an Indoor Cycle Instructor easier and the folks that attend my classes think I'm a rock star. Thanks again.
I want to tell you about my Riding over this past weekend. Went out Saturday with some friends, for 37 miles, the first ride of the year, avg speed 15.3.   I felt great could have rode forever, I was even told to slow down. I have the power to get up the hills, and was not as winded as my friends. You and Tom did a great job this year. Thanks again.
I was too overwhelmed during the start-up phase of the studio (we opened Dec. 1st, 2010) to take this on, but after receiving an e-mail invitation from Jennifer Sage to watch last Friday night, I decided to also sign up for one week of your Winter Training to check it out. I have been completely blown away. What you are doing is so incredible, so comprehensive, that I can say now that I absolutely want to be a facilitator and offer this through JoyRide next winter!!!
Yesterday's session was great! I feel better today than I have for months. I have to admit the pilates must have loosened my hip up as I am able to move more easily than before. I will try to log in while on the road and see how things are going. I will miss you and the 'team' while away. Great session!
Bottom line, I think the simulcast is the teaching tool of the future.
I followed you Saturday for the whole day on Time Warner Cable Maine. I fell in love with both of you at the very intimate, yet energizing 1st ICI/PRO conference last fall (in Boston). I just happened to come across the live "feed" class you were offering last Saturday online. Absolutely wonderful job. I enjoyed the lecture, ride & the Yoga sessions so much that I signed up for the rest of the Winter Season AND purchased a power meter trainer for my outdoor bike when I have 2 perfectly good Spinner bikes in my home. I applaud you both for everything you are doing.
I have the Class Builder™ app since Sunday - test will be done in my class tonight. I really like it - and the tutorials and the forum are great! So thanks to the team!!
Great class today and I want to express that the program has been a perfect learning experience for understanding zone based training. Especially since I'm usually the type who hammers every time out and bonks too often due to under trained stamina and an underdeveloped knowledge of fuel consumption. So thanks for developing the program to straighten out those of us who needed a little direction.
Another great session today...What a treat having Sally Edwards speak to us today! I know plenty of triathaletes that would have paid money to hear her speak and we get to hear her just as part of our program. Awesome!
Really great lecture and workout! Great delivery on the workout Tom. Everyone loved your strong presence and clarity and intensity. You were the captain of the ship! People liked that they could hear you and not have your voice over shadowed by the music. Overall this was one of the best sessions delivery and technology wise.
Gene is great - I absolutely loved the intro class - which is also why I've invited more folks this week to join us if they can, while there is still space. I feel confident that although I'm not a strong cyclist - I can develop cycling-specific muscles and more cardiovascular endurance, so when I get out on the road - I'm able to focus on the road and improving my riding skills and comfort.
Hello! Wanted to THANK YOU for the awesome Heart Zones® Zones Conference last month. I wasn't able to attend but was present on line and have watched the videos and workouts a couple times now! I Love your latest threshold testing and the calculator! I am NOT teaching indoors presently but would like to work with your info for outdoor tri training. Long story short...and I remember telling you this...we need cycling fusion in HOUSTON! :)
For the past three years, I have ridden Pilot Mountain in North Carolina called the Pilot Mountain Challenge.  The ride consists of some challenging rollers as well as some steep short climbs.  Keep in mind that I am used to the flat terrain of eastern North Carolina.  The total mileage was about 60 miles, the weather started in the mid 30's with 10-15 mile per hour winds (probably sounds like springtime in Pittsburgh).  The total ride time was 5 hours with frequent stops in between to check out the cue sheet, fuel up, or just warm up.  One thing that I was able to do this ride that I had not accomplished in previous rides was the gearing that was required to complete the ride.  I used my bike with a triple chain ring just as I always have on this ride.  This is the first time that I was able to ride the complete route and not have to use the small chain ring for any of the climbs.  I do think the winter training has helped me to accomplish this and get stronger.  Another accomplishment was that I did not exceed zone 3 throughout the ride.  Thanks so much for all that you are doing  and the opportunity to learn from you and your well designed program.  I know that I am a better rider and instructor as a result of this training.
This is the best cycling training that I have ever participated in. Keep up the good work.
Gene, I have to tell you that Winter training is quite good.  I also think ride journal is one of the best on-line journal tools out there.  I have a weight loss client I want to Ride Journal for.  Instead of biking I want to use it for a walking plan. I know you guys are in Pre Beta, when your ready I would love to provide feedback.   Again its a great tool and winter training is really good.
It was great! Folks all said there's a lot more to learn apparently! They were all tickled when you said hi to us in Beaumont, Texas! Nothing like making them feel special, that's for sure. thanks again
I was blown away by the winter training simulcast last week, John. (this email came to ICI / PRO and forwarded to us at Cycling Fusion) It was just like being there. I could see both Gene and the class and comment or ask questions. The fact that Tom was leading the online chat discussion and Sally Edwards made it amazing. How often do you get to interact with two people of that stature?
Hey Guys, I wanted to tell you that this is the first year I've ever done a winter training of any kind. I just started riding last year in May after not riding much if any for over 20 years. Last year I did NO low zone work and I struggled big time to keep up with the best riders in Quincy. I was always getting dropped when the tempo increased. This year is completely different. On the ride this morning I was in a group of 4 top riders from this area, some half my age, and I was not only staying with them in the fast pace line but won the final sprint into town. I owe this all to the winter training program.
Went really well today. The group was more focused than Saturday. Several said that the workout was the best yet! The cues were really clear, and they loved Nina. Three people came back from the live broadcast on Saturday to do it again to the archive.
See you tomorrow from your snowy backyard to mine (I'm not even going into the 7-10 inches thing). You have your class in front of you and I will have my biggest supporters (ages 11/13) behind me playing "Black Ops" wondering why Mom is trying to say the "Pledge..." mind you, with breath.
Starting off at 260 I'm a horse. But I'm down to 238 already just by putting in the work. The guys I bike with started telling me today not to take any more weight off. I think their getting nervous. :-) I've learned a ton from this course and I highly recommend it to everyone. What an awesome difference it has made with me.
Nice job yesterday. Really enjoyed the format-well done to all! Looking forward to upcoming weeks of having someone train me!
"Best indoor cycling experience I’ve ever had”.. is a quote from one of my toughest to please students. Kudos to you!
Will it help me teach a better class? I think so, I think they'll learn a lot!
Pilates instructor was precise, articulate and my class enjoyed her very much. They all appreciated the improvement in both camera work (good job Dustin) and the more appropriate instruction for their level (it was still challenging for some of the men - but doable).
